Cani Yilmaz is a scout and (player) advisor at One-Zero Sportsmanagement. In his active football career, he played as a left winger in the youth of AZ Alkmaar and played in the Dutch national team under 15, 16 and 17 years. During that period he played in several leading international tournaments.
Due to a nasty knee injury at the age of 16, Cani suffered serious setbacks in his still early career. At that time, for the first time, perseverance and hard work were asked, something he did not know because until then, exceptional talent could always be used. Unfortunately, he could not afford this at the time, and a career with a prospect of a long professional career came to an abrupt end. Via FC Utrecht, Cani ended up at ADO'20, where he became champion of the Dutch big league at the age of 17. Cani is currently playing at a high amateur level.
For Cani, supporting and coaching players who are at the beginning of a promising career is paramount: "I think I can give players the extra that allows them to make a difference. The line between hero and zero is paper thin. I am A good example of that line. I want to help players achieve what I unfortunately could not finish myself. I can support from experience with dilemmas and setbacks and advise on what steps to take to start the path to hero. reaching the top together! "
